Knowledge Graph & Data Semantic Specialist

We’re looking for Knowledge Graph engineer with 3+ years of relevant experience in knowledge graphs, semantic technologies, or data modelling to help build connected, meaningful data systems for search, analytics, and AI.

What you’ll work on:

• Design, build, and maintain knowledge graphs, ontologies, taxonomies, and semantic data models.
• Define shared vocabularies and business concepts to ensure consistent meaning across data sources.
• Build pipelines to integrate structured and unstructured data.
• Develop entity extraction, entity resolution, and relationship mapping processes.
• Map source schemas to common semantic models to improve interoperability and reuse.
• Write and optimise graph queries for retrieval, exploration, and reasoning.
• Implement data validation, lineage, and documentation to improve quality and traceability.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and domain experts to deliver practical graph solutions.
• Support semantic search, LLM applications, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).What you’ll bring:
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in knowledge graph engineering, semantic data modelling, or closely related work.
• Strong Python skills and experience developing data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with graph databases such as Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, or comparable platforms.
• Familiarity with relevant technologies such as RDF, RDFS, OWL, SPARQL, SHACL, and Cypher.
• A solid understanding of ontology engineering, data integration, and semantic interoperability.
• The ability to translate business and domain knowledge into clear concepts, relationships, and constraints.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Nice to have: Experience with NLP, metadata management, data governance, embeddings, GraphRAG, cloud platforms, or large-scale graph processing.
