Software Engineer – Fresher

Role Description As a Software Engineer – Fresher, you will work full time in a remote capacity, contributing to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications under the guidance of senior engineers. You will write clean, efficient code, participate in code reviews, and assist in debugging and resolving technical issues. Day-to-day activities include collaborating with team members on back-end web development tasks, implementing features according to specifications, and documenting technical solutions. You will also learn and apply best practices in software engineering, follow agile workflows, and continuously improve your programming skills through assigned projects, training, and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and basic software engineering principles.
• Knowledge of Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with experience in at least one modern programming language (such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript).
• Interest or basic experience in Software Development and Back-End Web Development, including working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly, follow coding standards, and apply problem-solving skills to real-world technical challenges.
• Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Good communication skills, willingness to ask questions, and openness to feedback and mentorship in a collaborative remote environment.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies is an advantage.
