Role Description The Information Technology Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kerala, India. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring IT projects that support hospitality operations, including systems related to reservations, point-of-sale, inventory, and compliance. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining project scope and timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing vendors, and ensuring that technology solutions align with business requirements. The IT Project Manager will track progress against milestones, manage budgets and risks, communicate status to stakeholders, and oversee testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. The role also involves maintaining documentation, promoting best practices in IT governance, and contributing to process improvements that enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end IT projects, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and working with external vendors or technology partners.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, testing coordination, and implementation support.
- Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, business applications, and data security best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in Kerala, India and collaborate effectively in a hospitality-focused environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant project management certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or service-oriented industries is beneficial.
