Forward Deployment Engineer – Fintech

We are looking for a Forward Deployment Engineer to work closely with financial clients, understand their technical and business requirements, and deploy customised technology solutions in real-world environments. The role combines software engineering, problem-solving, systems integration, and client collaboration to ensure successful implementation and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with clients to understand business workflows, technical requirements, and operational challenges.
  • Design, develop, customise, and deploy software solutions within client environments.
  • Build integrations with APIs, databases, internal systems, and third-party platforms.
  • Develop scripts, tools, and automation to streamline financial workflows and processes.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimise solution performance.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate client requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Support implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing technical improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong programming experience in Python, Java, C++, or similar languages.
  • Experience working with APIs, databases, distributed systems, and cloud technologies.
  • Understanding of financial services, capital markets, banking, trading, or fintech workflows.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work directly with clients and translate business problems into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to trading systems, market data, financial platforms, or quantitative workflows.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML, LLMs, and automation frameworks.
  • Experience deploying production-grade software in enterprise or financial services environments.
