Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Agentforce Developer with strong Salesforce development expertise and hands-on experience in Salesforce Agentforce and AI-powered solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, integrating, and deploying intelligent AI agents to enhance customer experience, employee productivity, and business operations.
The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and Salesforce teams to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable Agentforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and deploy Salesforce Agentforce agents, including topics, actions, instructions, and guardrails.
- Integrate Agentforce with Salesforce CRM data, Salesforce Flows, Apex, APIs, Knowledge, Data Cloud, and external systems.
- Develop reusable agent actions using Salesforce Flow, Apex, and declarative automation tools.
- Design conversational journeys, escalation paths, exception handling, and human handoff processes.
- Configure AI grounding using Salesforce Knowledge, CRM data, Data Cloud, and approved external data sources.
- Apply prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and responsible AI practices to improve agent accuracy and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with Salesforce security, data privacy, access control, and organizational governance standards.
- Collaborate with business teams to identify use cases and translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, user acceptance, and performance tests.
- Troubleshoot, monitor, optimize, and enhance Agentforce solutions in production.
- Prepare technical documentation, configuration guides, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- 5 10 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development.
- Minimum 1+ year of practical experience with Salesforce Agentforce or Salesforce AI capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Lightning Experience and platform configuration.
- Hands-on expertise in Salesforce Flow, Apex programming, and SOQL.
- Experience building and configuring AI agents, conversational AI solutions, or generative AI applications.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, AI grounding, RAG, and AI guardrails.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and field-level security.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs, automation, orchestration, and integration patterns.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Knowledge and Data Cloud is an advantage.
- Experience with testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Good communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
Preferred Skills
- Salesforce Agentforce implementation experience in real-world projects.
- Exposure to Salesforce Einstein AI capabilities.
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and enterprise data integration.
- Knowledge of responsible AI, AI governance, and data privacy practices.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I/II or relevant Salesforce certifications.
