About the Role

We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager who can turn user needs and business goals into clear product requirements and work closely with engineering to deliver them.

You will own features from discovery to launch, manage the development cycle and Scrum process, and use data and user feedback to improve the product.

What You’ll Do

  • Own product planning: Identify problems, prioritise opportunities, and maintain a roadmap across onboarding, content discovery, engagement, subscriptions, and payments.
  • Write clear requirements: Create PRDs, user stories, flows, acceptance criteria, and edge cases so design and engineering have clarity before development starts.
  • Work closely with engineering: Discuss feasibility, APIs, integrations, dependencies, and technical trade-offs. Translate business requirements into actionable development tasks.
  • Manage Scrum and delivery:Run sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Track progress, resolve blockers, and communicate timelines.
  • Own the development cycle: Coordinate design, development, QA, bug fixes, release readiness, and post-launch monitoring. Validate that shipped features meet requirements.
  • Improve product performance: Use funnel analysis, experiments, and user feedback to improve install-to-trial conversion, paid conversion, engagement, and retention.
  • Define product tracking: Specify analytics events and work with engineering to verify that user journeys, experiments, and payment flows are measured correctly.
  • Coordinate across teams: Work with design, content, growth, and operations to align priorities and deliver a consistent user experience.
  • Prioritise reliability: Balance new features with bugs, technical debt, app performance, and subscription or payment issues.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–5 years of experience in product management or technical product management, with hands-on ownership of software delivery.
  • Strong understanding of mobile apps, backend systems, APIs, integrations, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience working directly with engineers and managing Agile/Scrum processes.
  • Ability to write clear requirements, anticipate edge cases, and make practical prioritisation decisions.
  • Comfort using product analytics, dashboards, and spreadsheets to investigate problems and measure results.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and ownership from planning through launch.

Good to Have

  • Previous experience with consumer apps, subscription products, edtech, or children’s products.
  • Exposure to payment gateways, recurring subscriptions, notifications, video platforms, or recommendation systems.
  • An engineering background or previous software development experience.

What Success Looks Like

Clear priorities, predictable delivery, reliable releases, and measurable improvements in conversion, engagement, and retention.
