We’re hiring: Founding Backend Engineer (Python + AI) | Equity-based role

Remotcare is an early-stage, AI-first health-tech startup building a privacy-first health intelligence platform for India. We’re looking for a founding backend engineer who wants to own the core of the platform, not just write tickets.

💡 What you’ll own

  • Design and build the backend from the ground up in Python
  • AI/LLM pipelines on GCP (Vertex AI / Gemini, vector search, RAG)
  • High-performance data layer (time-series, caching, vector DBs)
  • Secure, privacy-first data flows
  • Architecture decisions, with a real voice in product direction🛠 What we’re looking for
  • 8+ years of backend engineering, Python-heavy
  • Hands-on experience building with AI/LLMs
  • Strong with high-performance databases: schema design, query tuning, scale
  • GCP experience (Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, BigQuery or similar)
  • Bonus: understanding of InfoSec (secure design, IAM, encryption, data privacy)🔥 Who you are

  • You take ownership end to end. No one needs to chase you

  • Equity-based founding role, with meaningful ownership for the right person
