Software Engineer

We’re hiring: Software Engineer — Angular and Python FastAPI

Location: Pune

Duration: 12 months contract

Experience: 4+ years

AITEK is seeking a Software Engineer to support and enhance a sentiment-analysis platform that processes internal and external Voice of Customer data through an Angular interface and Python FastAPI services.

Key responsibilities:

• Integrate Voice of Customer data sources using APIs, files, and webhooks
• Manage authentication, pagination, rate limits, retries, schema changes, and failed jobs
• Build and enhance Angular dashboards and FastAPI services
• Develop frontend and backend features supporting ingestion, processing, monitoring, and reporting
• Troubleshoot UI, API, data-processing, and report issues
• Validate data mappings, transformations, deduplication, sentiment outputs, and report totals
• Write and optimize SQL queries for end-to-end data reconciliation
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, logging, monitoring, and production reliability
• Support incident management and implement permanent fixes
• Document technical designs, integrations, and support procedures

What we’re looking for:

• 4+ years of software-engineering experience, including application or production support
• Strong Angular, TypeScript, Python, and FastAPI skills
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, webhooks, background jobs, and third-party integrations
• Strong SQL and data-reconciliation capabilities
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and incident management
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related disciplineExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, NoSQL, automated testing, BI tools, CX platforms, or ML/NLP integrations is advantageous.
