AI/ Data Engineer (3+ years)

We're hiring: AI / Data Engineer – e-Governance Platform

COSQ Network Private Limited is building a citizen-facing e-Governance

platform on Java Spring Boot and React/Next.js. We need an AI / Data Engineer

to build the data pipelines, analytics and intelligent features that help

departments serve citizens faster.

Location: Trivandrum, India (on-site only)

Employment type: Full-time

Experience: 3+ years

CTC: ₹8.8 – 10.6 LPA (based on skills and experience)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines that bring application, servicerequest and grievance data into a reporting and analytics layer.
• Design data models and warehouse tables in PostgreSQL (and a columnar store

where needed) for dashboards and MIS reports.

• Develop AI features such as document classification, OCR and data

extraction from citizen uploads, grievance categorisation and multilingual

(English/Malayalam/Hindi) chatbots or search.

• Package models as services (Python FastAPI) and integrate them with Spring

Boot APIs and the React/Next.js front end.

• Monitor data quality, model accuracy and drift; document datasets,

assumptions and limitations.

• Apply privacy and security controls to personal data, including masking,

access control and audit trails.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years in data engineering, ML engineering or applied AI roles.
• Strong Python and SQL; experience with pandas, scikit-learn and one deeplearning framework (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Experience with orchestration and pipeline tools (Airflow, Kafka, Spark or

similar).

• Hands-on with NLP, OCR (Tesseract or cloud OCR) or LLM-based solutions,

including prompt design and retrieval (RAG).

• Comfortable working alongside Java Spring Boot teams and consuming or

exposing REST APIs.

GOOD TO HAVE

• Experience with Power BI, Metabase or Superset dashboards.
• Knowledge of Indian language NLP (Bhashini or similar) and data protection

norms such as the DPDP Act.

• Prior work on public-sector analytics or open-data projects.
