Sana Commerce Cloud (SCC) Lead

Contract (Bangalore / US EST Overlap)

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sana Commerce Cloud (SCC) Lead for a consulting/contract engagement based in Bangalore, India (with regular alignment and operational overlap required with the US EST time zone).

In this role, you will own, design, and deliver end-to-end e-commerce capabilities leveraging SCC, seamlessly integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, product configurators, distributor portals, PunchOut flows, advanced pricing engines, and order orchestration systems. You will serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders (E-Commerce, Sales Operations, Pricing, Finance, Product) and technical delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Roadmap: Drive SCC commerce strategy, roadmap, and execution across B2B, distributor portals, and internal sales portal experiences.
  • Functional Leadership & Fit/Gap: Lead requirement definitions, manage complex pricing controls for specific distributor/end-customer combinations, translate business needs into functional designs and user stories, and own the backlog.
  • Integration & Architecture: Oversee integration architecture across SCC, D365 F&O, Experlogix (configurator), Flintfox, middleware, and other digital systems via APIs and OData. Ensure uniform order entry rules across channels.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Own test planning for commerce workstreams, including environment access, master data setup, and end-to-end scenario coverage. Coordinate vendor teams to ensure deployment readiness.
  • Production Support & Triage: Act as L3 escalation point for commerce issues spanning order capture, pricing catalogs, checkout, and integration flows; partner with internal engineering teams to triage and resolve defects.
  • Governance & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the Commerce Solution Subject Matter Expert (SME) for leadership, define digital commerce best practices, and present updates, capability gaps, and risks in PMO and SteerCo forums.Required Qualifications & Tech Stack
  • Experience: 8+ years of total experience in ERP-enabled e-commerce solutions, with at least 4+ years specializing in Sana Commerce Cloud (SCC) or similar enterprise B2B e-commerce platforms.
  • Core Functional Expertise: Deep knowledge of B2B commerce, distributor portals, sales ordering workflows, PunchOut, advanced pricing, and customer segmentation.
  • Technical Integration Stack: Hands-on experience integrating e-commerce with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, configurators (Experlogix), pricing engines (Flintfox), middleware, and order management systems.
  • Project Delivery: Proven track record leading functional design, CRP/UAT cycles, catalog management, channel hierarchies, and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Preferred Background: Familiarity with D365 security models, Power Platform for workflow extensions, and complex CPQ systems.
  • Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business (Master's degree preferred).
  • Sana Commerce Cloud certifications or relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MB-300: Dynamics 365 Core, MB-500 / MB-700).Key Outcomes & Deliverables
  • Architecture & Blueprints: End-to-end e-commerce solution architecture covering B2B portals, distributor ordering flows, pricing rules, catalog segmentation, PunchOut, and ATP; formal integration and "on-behalf-of ordering" blueprints.
  • Platform Optimization: Delivery of a scalable, enterprise-grade commerce platform that eliminates fragmented ordering experiences across channels and aligns with overarching sales and distributor operating models.
