Our client is a global product company setting up its Hyderabad engineering team. The team is building a new platform from scratch, and you will join early enough to shape how it gets built.
What you’ll do
Build and maintain clean, tested, reusable code across the stack
Develop Python services and APIs for a new platform
Rebuild legacy code as secure, well-documented APIs
Work with AWS serverless tools like Lambda, SQS and S3
Work closely with product and engineering teams across geographies
Take part in code reviews, pairing and CI/CD
What we’re looking for
5+ years in software development, with 3+ years in Python
3+ years with web frameworks such as Django, Flask or Rails
1+ year with React, Angular or Vue
Hands-on AWS experience, especially Lambda, SQS and S3
Experience in a product company
Good with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and relational databases like MySQL or Postgres
Git, Docker and testing tools like pytest or jest
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
Nice to have
Ruby exposure
Hackathon or coding contest wins, patents, or published work
Linters like Flake8 or ESLint
Good to know
Hyderabad based, hybrid
