Role Description The App and Website Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing the ministry’s digital platforms, including websites and mobile applications. This role involves managing content updates, ensuring accurate and timely publication of information, and coordinating with media, prayer, and outreach teams to align digital messaging with ministry activities. The App and Website Manager will monitor site performance, user experience, and security, and will work with design, development, and vendor partners to implement enhancements and resolve technical issues. Daily responsibilities include tracking analytics, supporting online campaigns and e-commerce functions, maintaining digital brand consistency, and documenting processes for ongoing improvements. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that all digital channels effectively support the ministry’s mission and audience engagement.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Web Analytics to track user behavior, engagement, and performance metrics across apps and websites.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Content Management to organize, publish, and maintain accurate, multilingual information on digital platforms.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Project Management to coordinate timelines, resources, and cross-functional teams for digital initiatives.
  • Candidates should possess skills in E-Commerce to manage online donations, resource sales, and secure transaction workflows.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Web Design to collaborate on user-friendly layouts, responsive interfaces, and consistent visual branding.
  • Beneficial qualifications include experience with CMS platforms (such as WordPress or similar), app management tools, and basic HTML/CSS.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders are essential.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media, or a related field, and prior experience in managing websites
