Required Skills & Experience:

Hands-on Senior AI Engineer with strong software engineering fundamentals and proven delivery of production-grade AI solutions, to lead reusable AI-native accelerators and platform capabilities under 'Build Once, Reuse Many.' This is a senior/lead role – owns architecture decisions, mentors engineers, and drives adoption, not just feature delivery. Not a prompt-engineering-only role - strong engineering depth and product thinking required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver scalable AI-enabled applications, reusable accelerators and platform components
  • Build Python-based APIs, backend services, microservices and enterprise integrations
  • Implement GenAI solutions: RAG, enterprise search, grounding, prompt orchestration, evaluation, guardrails
  • Develop agentic and multi-agent workflows (tools, state, memory, orchestration, human-in-the-loop)
  • Apply AI-DLC/AI-assisted SDLC practices across design, coding, testing, review and release
  • Deploy and operate on AWS (Docker, CI/CD, security, telemetry, monitoring)
  • Mentor engineers; contribute to technical design and engineering standards Mandatory Skills
  • Python (APIs, microservices, automation, async processing); 7-10 yrs engineering experience
  • 2+ years hands-on experience in GenAI/LLM engineering, RAG, embeddings, including demonstrated agentic or multi-agent system development
  • Agentic AI: orchestration frameworks, tool integrations, state, memory, workflow automation — hands-on with two or more of: LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, Bedrock/Claude
  • Vector/graph databases: OpenSearch, Pinecone, Weaviate, Neo4j, pgvector
  • Platform/accelerator engineering experience (building reusable components, not one-off project solutions)
  • AWS cloud, container-based deployment (Docker, CI/CD, Git, testing, observability)
  • Strong engineering fundamentals: architecture, design patterns, clean code, system design
  • AI-assisted engineering tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or equivalent) Preferred Skills
  • MCP, A2A, spec-driven development (SDD)
  • LLM-Ops/observability: LangSmith, Langfuse, Arize, W&B
  • GenAI eval, guardrails, prompt-injection defense, secure handling of enterprise data
  • Airflow/Spark or streaming data pipeline experience
  • React/Angular, TypeScript, REST APIs
  • Kubernetes, infrastructure as code
  • Azure or GCP (in addition to AWS) Behavioural Strong technical ownership and mentoring ability; clear communication across technical, product and customer stakeholders.
