Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Backend/API Developer with a strong background in Java development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will understand product management requirements and translate them into product features and architecture using innovative technologies to address business challenges. This role involves hands-on coding, reviewing, and testing Java mid-tier applications while guiding and assisting fellow developers.

Responsibilities

Translate product management requirements into technical specifications and product features.
Engage in hands-on coding, review, and testing of Java mid-tier applications.
Guide and mentor developers and peers to enhance team performance.
Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Work closely with product management to define future requirements and project scope.
Contribute to process improvements related to quality software development.

Mandatory Skills

5-10 years of experience in developing enterprise applications using Java, Spring, and MVC patterns.
Proficient in Gradle and Maven build tools.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and Design Patterns.
Experience with XML and JSON data formats.
Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
Experience with Java, GoLang, React, or any UI framework.
Understanding of microservices architecture and best practices in UI development.
Working knowledge of version control systems like CVS, Jenkins, Git, and Gerrit.
Familiarity with Apache projects such as Hadoop and Spark.

Qualifications

B Tech, MCA, or equivalent degree. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
