I&P GN - Treasury – Consultant - Process Excellence-PE

Management Level: 09–Consultant

Location: Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune

Must have skills: Good understanding of Treasury operations, with expertise in Treasury business processes and the ability to identify AI and automation opportunities across one or more areas, including Cash & Liquidity Management, Financial Risk Management, In-House Banking, Payment Automation & Bank Connectivity, and Working Capital Management.

Job Summary:

Consultant – Process Excellence contributes to Treasury transformation engagements, bringing structured process analysis skills, hands-on AI and automation tooling experience, and growing domain knowledge across Cash and Liquidity Management, Risk Management, In-House Banking, Payment automation and Bank connectivity, Working Capital management

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct As-Is process maturity assessment (L1–L4) and structured gap analysis across Treasury sub-processes
  • Develop To-Be process designs, SOPs, RACI frameworks, and process narratives aligned with GBS / Shared Services target-state design principles
  • AI-Ready Process Analysis: analyze workflows to identify automation and AI intervention opportunities
  • Python (must have): write clean functional scripts for data extraction, transformation, API calls, and workflow automation tasks; independently run and debug scripts within Treasury transformation contexts
  • SQL (must have): query Treasury datasets from ERP / data warehouse environments; perform joins, aggregations, and sub-queries to extract operational insights supporting process assessments
  • Hands-On AI Tooling: apply at least one of – GenAI prompt engineering, RPA scripting, process mining tools, or LLM-based workflow prototyping – to real Treasury process challenges
  • Data Analysis & Treasury Reporting: build analytical outputs using Excel, Power BI, Python, or SQL; support delivery of process performance dashboards and KPI tracking frameworks
  • Support operating model design and transition planning activities – contribute to wave planning documentation, KT tracking, SLA frameworks, and stabilization reports
  • Solution Documentation & Delivery Contribution: prepare workshop materials, process deliverables, status reports, and presentation decks; contribute to business case quantification
  • Treasury Sub-Process Knowledge: demonstrate working knowledge of at least one tower (Cash & Liquidity Management, Financial Risk Management, In-House Banking, Payment Automation & Bank Connectivity, and Working Capital Management.); actively develop multi-tower depth over time
  • Collaborate with AI/data engineers and automation specialists to embed technology interventions into redesigned process flows; contribute to functional specification documents
