Java Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and prepare new requirements from diagnostic cross-sectional specifications, change requests, and complaints.
- Coordinate diagnostic sequence requirements with technical development, production, and customer service teams.
- Develop, adapt, and enhance diagnostic sequences (Java jobs).
- Coordinate interfaces between:
- Diagnostic sequences (Java jobs)
- ODX standard data
- Test/inspection systems (e.g., ODIS)
- Develop exemplary implementations and perform validation testing.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Min 4+ years of Strong experience in Java 8
- Experience developing Java jobs for MCD systems
- IntelliJ IDEA
- Gradle build system
- Install4J installer creation
- Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines)
- GitHub Enterprise Server & GitHub Actions
- Atlassian tools: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket
- Experience with Ant/Maven/Gradle.
- Eclipse and other IDEs.
- Strong knowledge in rezzzv3D (Version 3.0.0), ISO 14229Good-to-Have Skills
- System & Platform Knowledge on XML, DOORS, Codebeamer, RDX/RAL knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with Volkswagen diagnostic Q-LAH standards.
- Document and visualize diagnostic sequences and test results.
- Provide technical support in committees and meetings.
- Create and manage tickets in JIRA and track change requests.
- Execute testing on VW Group MCD systems.
- Create test specifications and simulation files.
- Maintain and enhance Java job test stations.Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fieldDesired Attributes
