We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Analyst - Research
Role
In this role, you will :
- Support the Global Investment Research Client Management team on client pricing, payment tracking, and consumption analysis for institutional clients.
- Assist in the management and analysis of broker vote data, including collection, validation, tracking, and reporting.
- Produce regular and ad hoc management information reports, dashboards, and analysis for senior stakeholders across Research.
- Support preparation for client meetings, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations by providing accurate and timely analysis.
- Maintain and improve client-related datasets, including pricing records, broker vote submissions, client interactions, and research usage metrics.
- Ensure accurate data capture and support enhancements to internal processes, controls, and reporting frameworks.
- Work closely with onshore stakeholders, sales teams, research management, and other support functions to deliver business priorities. Assist in the development and enhancement of in-house dashboards and reporting tools for pricing, broker votes, and client engagement tracking.
- Contribute to strategic and transformation workstreams across the Research function, including process automation and reporting improvements. Ensure all activities are carried out in line with relevant regulatory and internal compliance requirements, including MiFID-related considerations where applicable.
To Be Successful, You Will
- Bachelor’s / MBA degree from a reputed institution; candidates with 1–5 years of relevant work experience are preferred.
- Experience in financial services, research support, client analytics, reporting, or commercial support roles would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of capital markets, the equity research business, or client servicing/commercial processes is preferred.
- Familiarity with broker vote processes, research valuation, pricing frameworks, or client analytics would be an advantage.
- Awareness of MiFID and broader regulatory considerations relevant to research consumption and payments is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to interpret commercial and client data.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel / PowerPoint is essential; experience with VBA, Python, Power BI, or dashboard tools would be an advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Flexible and proactive approach to workload, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
