AI-Augmented Engineer – OutSystems (Onboarding & Access)

Role Overview

We are looking for an AI-Augmented Engineer with 4+ years of overall experience and 3+ years of hands-on OutSystems development. The candidate will build and enhance onboarding, user administration, identity, and access-management features using OutSystems and AI-assisted coding tools.

The role requires practical experience using AI to generate production code, tests, and documentation, followed by independent review and validation before submitting a pull request (PR).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop onboarding screens, administration interfaces, and workflows using OutSystems Reactive Web / ODC.
• Build integrations with identity providers, agency data sources, and enterprise systems.
• Implement user provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and delegated administration features.
• Use AI tools to generate code, unit tests, integration tests, and technical documentation.
• Write effective prompts with sufficient context, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
• Review and correct AI-generated output before submitting pull requests.
• Execute tests and verify functional requirements, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with QA teams on role/permission regression testing.
• Work with UX teams to improve onboarding and administration experiences.
• Follow OutSystems development standards and participate in peer reviews.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of overall software development experience
• 3+ years of hands-on OutSystems development
• Experience with OutSystems Reactive Web and/or ODC.
• 1+ year of hands-on AI-assisted development.
• Daily or regular use of AI tools to generate production code and tests.
• Experience reviewing, correcting, and validating AI-generated output.
• Understanding of IAM, RBAC, user onboarding, or system configuration.
• SQL, JavaScript, and CSS knowledge.
• Unit testing, API testing, and integration testing.
• Ability to validate code against acceptance criteria before raising a PR.

Preferred Skills

• OutSystems Associate or Professional Reactive Developer certification.
• OutSystems Mentor.
• Claude / Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or equivalent approved AI coding tools.
• Experience with identity-provider integrations and agency/user provisioning.
• Multi-agency or multi-tenant administration modules.
• Experience in security and performance validation.
