Required Experience
- Act as the go-to technical expert for solving difficult architectural, design, and implementation problems.
- Own requirements management and trade-off decisions, refining ambiguous business needs into precise, implementable engineering requirements. Understand the voice of the customer with very little intervention or support from US-side staff.
- Own and drive the requirement gathering process for owned areas of functionality, including multi-person, multi-month scope work where necessary.
- Develop requirements starting from "extremely high level, frequently ambiguous, always under-specified" requests, and engage the product owner and/or customer to drive them to the necessary level of precision and granularity.
- Continually reconcile requests under consideration with overall project and product priorities, both functional and non-functional.
- Understand overall product and project requirements deeply enough to offer project-wide trade-offs, e.g., shrinking functionality in one area to bring in the timeline, or extending the timeline by an acceptable amount to solve a newly identified must-have need.
- Identify and mitigate technical, architectural, and timeline risks early, using sound engineering and project management practices.
- Proactively identify and list risks across the project from initial requirements gathering onward, including negotiating requirement definitions to keep risk at an acceptable level.
- Extensive experience in Python development with a proven track record of successful projects.
- Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (Django, FastAPI, Flask, or Pyramid).
- Design systems to automate patient interactions with health systems.
- Develop applications in Google Cloud to implement the product owner's vision.
- Experience working in a full CI/CD environment.
- Working knowledge of React and front-end technologies is an added advantage.
- Coordinate with Data Science to deploy models in production.
- Act as team lead for a local development team.
- Exposure to and familiarity with ML models and techniques is a bonus.

Education & Experience Requirements
- BE, BTech, or MTech with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in the IT industry
- 5+ years working with Python
- 2+ years developing applications in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- 1+ years in a leadership role on a software team
