Associate III - Product Engineering

Role Description

Design, develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs and system integrations. Develop and consume APIs using HTTP methods such as GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE. Work with JSON/XML data formats and API authentication mechanisms. Integrate Sage applications with internal and external business systems. Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and support. Troubleshoot application, API, and integration issues and provide root-cause analysis. Develop unit and integration test cases and support UAT activities. Collaborate with developers, QA teams, business analysts, and stakeholders. Maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and support documents. Follow coding standards, version-control practices, and established development processes. Provide production support and participate in incident and problem management. Required Skills Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services. Good knowledge of SDLC and software development methodologies. Experience working with Sage applications/platforms and related integrations. Knowledge of JSON, XML, HTTP, API authentication, and integration patterns. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Experience with databases and SQL. Familiarity with source-control and deployment tools. Good communication and stakeholder-management skills. Preferred Skills Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger/OpenAPI. Knowledge of cloud-based integrations and middleware. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology. Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices. Experience integrating ERP/accounting systems with third-party applications
