Tech Lead / Scrum Master
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead / Scrum Master - Supply Chain Solutions with a strong background in Development of Supply Chain Solutions and software delivery in an agile setup. The ideal candidate should have experience leading cross-functional technical teams, working in Agile/Scrum environments, managing stakeholders, and taking end-to-end ownership of software delivery.
Experience with JDA / Blue Yonder Supply Chain solutions is preferred. Exposure to software development and testing in a multi-vendor environment is needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Leadership & Delivery:
Lead cross-functional technical teams (developers, QA, data engineer) and take end-to-end ownership of software product delivery.
Drive end-to-end delivery and release activities, from requirements and planning through development, testing, implementation, and production deployment.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and cross-functional teams.
Ensure delivery commitments, timelines, quality standards, and objectives are met.
Identify and proactively manage technical and delivery risks, dependencies, blockers, and escalations.
2. Agile & Scrum Management:
Act as Scrum Master and facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and other Agile ceremonies.
Work closely with Product Owners and teams to maintain and prioritize the backlog.
Remove impediments and ensure teams remain focused on sprint and delivery objectives.
Drive accountability, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum practices and software delivery processes.
3. Supply Chain Solution Rollout & Delivery:
Work closely with business and technology teams on solutions related to Supply Chain Management.
Understand business requirements and ensure they are translated effectively into technical deliverables.
Drive Rollout of solutions such as Demand Planning or related domains globally across multiple countries.
Experience with JDA / Blue Yonder solutions will be preferred.
4. Stakeholder & Multi-Vendor Management:
Work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, technology teams, QA teams, vendors, and other delivery partners.
Manage stakeholder expectations and provide clear and timely communication regarding project status, risks, dependencies, and issues.
Coordinate across multiple vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery.
Manage dependencies and resolve cross-team or cross-vendor blockers.
Escalate critical risks and issues appropriately.
5. Quality & Continuous Improvement:
Collaborate with QA/testing teams to ensure appropriate testing and quality practices are incorporated throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Ensure adherence to software development, quality, and delivery standards.
Identify opportunities to improve team processes, delivery efficiency, and overall quality.
Mentor and support team members and encourage a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
6. Team management for Progreva team deployed on the project
Set clear goals and expectations, track individual and team performance, and give regular feedback and support for career development.
Handle escalations if any, and account growth
Support hiring, onboarding, documentation, and knowledge transfer, so the team keeps the right skills and continuity across locations.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong experience in Supply Chain Management / Supply Chain Solutions.
Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, or similar role.
Strong hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum software delivery environments.
Experience leading and managing technical and cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of the software development and delivery lifecycle.
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive initiatives.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience coordinating across multiple teams and vendors.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery challenges.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
8+ years experience in the I.T. field.
Experience with Supply Chain solutions (preferably JDA / Blue Yonder).
Experience working with large-scale enterprise applications and international teams.
Experience working in a multi-vendor delivery environment.
Relevant Agile/Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe would be an advantage.
Preferred experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Chain Execution, Warehouse Management, or related areas.
