Senior Software Engineer, Optimization Engine (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud) | Rajasthan, India | On-site

G2Q Computing is a Milan-based deep tech startup building software for optimization, machine learning and AI agents. We work with clients in energy, finance and engineering, and we are opening our engineering office in Rajasthan.

The role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our new office in Rajasthan. You will design, build and deploy production-grade software on multi-cloud environments, working closely with our product team and our headquarters in Milan.

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend software and APIs
• Deploy and operate solutions on AWS, Azure and IBM Cloud
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
• Improve the performance, scalability and reliability of existing software
• Write clean, tested and well-documented code, and review teammates’ code
• Contribute to architecture decisions, security and performanceWhat we are looking for
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Strong Python skills, with attention to performance and clean design
• Experience with distributed or parallel computing (multiprocessing, Dask, Ray, MPI or similar)
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure and IBM Cloud
• Solid experience with Git and GitHub (pull requests, code review, GitHub Actions)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
• Good knowledge of testing, profiling and DevOps best practices
• Fluent English and good communication skills with international teams
• Willingness to work on-site in RajasthanNice to have
• Background in optimization (mixed-integer programming, solvers such as Gurobi or CPLEX, OR-Tools)
• Experience with GPU computing or HPC schedulers (Slurm)
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and monitoring tools
• Mentoring juniors or leading technical design
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure)What we offer
