Job Description – Lead Full Stack Engineer (Java + React + GCP)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Full Stack Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React.js, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications across frontend and backend systems.

The role requires strong technical ownership, expertise in API development and cloud-native architecture, and the ability to mentor team members and drive engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.js.
Build responsive, reusable, and high-performance frontend components using React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices following API design best practices.
Define and maintain API contracts using OpenAPI/Swagger.
Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT.
Integrate backend services with API Gateway solutions and ensure API security.
Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Participate in architecture discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
Collaborate with architects, DevOps, QA, UI/UX, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Must-Have Skills
6–11 years of professional software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise backend applications.
Strong hands-on experience with React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI development.
Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger, API Gateway, and API lifecycle management.
Strong understanding of OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and API security.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Git.
Strong understanding of application architecture, scalability, performance, and maintainability.Good-to-Have Skills
Experience with Apigee or other API management platforms.
Knowledge of TypeScript and React state management libraries.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
Knowledge of GCP services such as Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Monitoring.
Experience with event-driven architecture, application observability, and automated testing tools.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Candidate Profile
