Who You Will Work With
BCN Private Equity Group CoE at Bain & Company provides specialized support to global teams across the private equity value chain, enabling clients to make key investment decisions. Our expertise lies in addressing critical diligence questions through a range of products such as survey analytics, digital diagnostic, workforce analytics and disruption assessment. Our teams work in a fast-paced environment delivering consistent and impactful results at scale. In the last decade, we have witnessed an exponential growth, reaching >250 members today from ~10 members in 2013. We operate from 3 locations – 2 in India and 1 in Poland, and operate across all 3 regions (EMEA, Americas and APAC). BCN PEG provides an opportunity to solve challenging business problems in a dynamic set-up working closely with global Bain teams, acting as a thought-partner with daily deliverables.
What You’ll Do
We are looking for a talented and driven Senior Associate – BCN PEG Americas - Alpha Agentic Factory to join the Bain Capability Network. You will own AI products end to end, from technical scoping through production, building the next generation of AI-powered products and intelligent workflows that transform how Bain's global consulting teams work.
This role sits at the intersection of cutting-edge AI development and full stack engineering. You will work alongside senior engineers, data scientists, and consulting teams to rapidly prototype and scale AI solutions — from LLM-powered applications to agentic systems — in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
- Build and integrate LLM-powered features: RAG pipelines, AI agents, and intelligent workflows
- Develop GenAI capabilities including prompt engineering, embeddings, memory systems, and evaluation
- Implement backend services in Python (FastAPI) to support AI applications
- Develop responsive, high-quality frontend interfaces using React and TypeScript
- Collaborate on designing multi-agent architecture and orchestration systems
- Build and maintain scalable APIs and microservices to power AI applications
- Ensure production-quality, well-tested, maintainable code across the stack
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployments
- Rapidly prototype AI-powered tools and MVPs to validate ideas with consulting teams
- Iterate quickly on feedback and help scale successful prototypes to production
- Experiment with emerging AI frameworks, models, and techniques
- Own AI products end to end, from technical scoping and architecture through build, launch, adoption, and iteration
- Engineering support for pilot AI tools on cases requirements, solution options, effort estimates, and delivery plans
- Partner with senior engineers and architects to align technical directions
- Participate in agile delivery cycles, sprint planning, and technical reviews
Experience
About you:
- 4-6 years of experience in full stack software engineering, including 1-2+ years building and shipping LLM/GenAI applications
- Hands-on experience building and shipping production-grade web applications end-to-end
- Experience owning a product or major feature, including technical scoping, estimation, and delivery with non-technical stakeholders
- Proven track record of working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments — startups, consulting, or innovation teams preferred
- Exposure to private equity, management consulting, or data-driven business environments is a plus
Technical Skills — Required
- Python (FastAPI / Flask), React & TypeScript, GenAI / LLM Ecosystems, RAG Pipelines & Agents, Vector DBs & Embeddings, REST APIs & Microservices, SQL / NoSQL Databases, Git & Modern Dev Workflows, Docker & CI/CD Basics
Technical Skills — Preferred
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
- LLMOps, evaluation frameworks, and AI observability tooling
- Multi-agent systems and AI orchestration frameworks (e.g. Google ADK, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen)
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code
- Familiarity with agent development patterns, such as agent harnesses and skill and tool design, using managed agent platforms or frameworks (e.g. Claude Managed Agents, Claude Agent SDK, LangChain)
