About the role

Cogneet’s AI Solutions practice helps businesses in India, Canada and beyond put AI to work: being cited by answer engines, answering questions from their own documents and taking repetitive work off their teams’ desks. As AI Solutions Consultant you are the person clients meet first — you scope each project, run its four-week proof of value and stay with it until it is in production.

You work with Cogneet’s engineering and growth teams. The role is consultative, not research: you need to know what today’s models can and cannot do, and to say so plainly to a client.

What you’ll do

• Run discovery workshops and turn a client’s problem into a written scope, with the one metric the project will be judged on.
• Scope and deliver AI search optimization, knowledge-system and automation projects, working with our engineers on the build.
• Design the evaluation before the build: the test questions, the accuracy bar and the sources every answer must cite.
• Take each project from a four-week proof of value to production, including access control, logging and a handover to the client’s team.
• Write the weekly update and the monthly report, and brief our growth team on what AI visibility means for their channels. What you’ll bring
• Four or more years in consulting, solutions engineering or technical product roles, with at least two AI or data projects taken from scoping to production.
• A working knowledge of large language models, retrieval, embeddings and evaluation — enough to challenge an engineer’s estimate.
• Python or TypeScript and SQL at prototype level.
• A clear grasp of the data-protection duties that apply when a client’s documents go into an AI system.
• Clear written and spoken English, and the confidence to run a workshop with a client’s leadership team.Nice to have
• Hands-on work with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, Canada’s PIPEDA or the GDPR.
• SEO or structured data, or projects measured on AI citation share.
• Automation platforms such as n8n, Make or Zapier, or an agent framework. What we offer
• Fully remote, from anywhere in India or Canada: we work together over video calls, a shared project board and a weekly written update.
• A laptop of your choice on day one and a home-office allowance in your first month.
• A learning budget of ₹60,000 a year, or the local equivalent, and two paid study days.
• Medical insurance for you, your partner and your children from day one, and an annual health check.
• 24 days of paid leave plus public holidays.
• A written career framework, with reviews every six months and pay tied to it.We share the salary range on the first call; it is set by the role’s level in our career framework, not by what you earn today.

It takes about five minutes, and we reply to every application within 10 working days.
