Job Description: Migration Developer – Resource Inventory Management

Job Summary

We are looking for skilled Migration Developer to support data migration initiatives within the Resource Inventory Management domain. The role involves designing, developing, and executing data migration scripts to migrate data from the Cramer system to the designated target database. The candidate will also contribute to data quality (DQ) validation, migration testing, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout the migration process.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data migration scripts to migrate data from Cramer to the required target database.
• Understand source data structures, target data models, and migration requirements.
• Implement data transformation, mapping, and validation logic as required for successful data migration.
• Support the definition and implementation of data quality (DQ) rules to ensure data completeness, accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Perform data migration testing, including data reconciliation and validation between source and target systems.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies and migration-related issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, domain experts, data architects, and testing teams to ensure migration requirements are met.
• Document migration scripts, data mappings, validation rules, test results, and identified issues.
• Support migration execution, defect resolution, and post-migration validation activities.Required Skills and Qualifications
• Hands-on experience in data migration development and implementation.
• Experience working with Cramer or similar inventory/resource management systems is preferred.
• Strong SQL skills and experience developing scripts for data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading.
• Understanding of relational databases and source-to-target data mapping.
• Experience with data quality rules, data profiling, data validation, and reconciliation.
• Exposure to data migration testing, defect tracking, and issue resolution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Preferred Domain Experience
• Experience in Production Domain and Resource Inventory Management.
• Understanding of inventory data, resource records, and associated data relationships.
• Experience supporting enterprise application migrations and data quality initiatives.Key Deliverables
