The Opportunity

We are seeking a technically proficient, hands-on Digital Twin Engineer to enhance and scale our existing Three.js-based digital twin platform. The role involves transforming complex physical infrastructure into interactive, data-driven 3D environments, with a strong emphasis on engineering quality, performance, and real-world usability.You will take ownership of key technical deliverables and contribute directly to the platform's ongoing evolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance interactive 3D digital twins for data centers, buildings, industrial facilities, and physical infrastructure.
  • Design and implement browser-based 3D applications using Three.js, WebGL, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Integrate real-time telemetry, sensor data, asset health, equipment status, and alarms into 3D environments using REST APIs and WebSockets.
  • Implement interactive capabilities including navigation, object selection, filtering, highlighting, and asset-level drill-down.
  • Import, process, and integrate 3D models from GLTF/GLB, OBJ, FBX, BIM/IFC, and CAD-derived formats.
  • Optimize rendering performance, scene complexity, memory utilization, and browser responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with product, UI/UX, and backend engineering teams to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant software engineering or 3D application development experience.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Three.js, WebGL, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web development.
  • Solid understanding of 3D rendering concepts, including scene graphs, meshes, materials, lighting, cameras, coordinate systems, and transformations.
  • Practical experience developing and optimizing complex, interactive browser-based 3D applications.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to independently manage technical deliverables and produce high-quality, maintainable code.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience developing Digital Twin solutions for data centers, industrial facilities, smart buildings, or complex physical infrastructure.
  • Exposure to NVIDIA Omniverse, OpenUSD, or comparable 3D simulation and Digital Twin platforms.
  • Experience with React, React Three Fiber, BIM/IFC, CAD, GIS, or 3D asset optimization workflows.
  • Familiarity with large-scale 3D environments, infrastructure simulation, and physics-based visualization.
