Senior Executive - New Product Development

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Executive – New Product Development to support the end-to-end development of professional products across haircare, hair color and skincare, from brief to launch. The role will involve coordinating with formulation chemists, contract manufacturers, third party laboratories and cross-functional teams to manage product development, trials, stability, scale-up and regulatory requirements. The candidate will also support vendor coordination, cost optimization, competitor benchmarking and timely execution of multiple NPD projects.

Responsibilities:

• Support end-to-end development of new professional products (haircare, hair color, skincare) from brief to launch.
• Coordinate lab samples, trial batches, stability and scale-up with chemists and contract manufacturers.
• Own the NPD project tracker; run cross-functional reviews and flag risks early.
• Coordinate vendors for raw materials and packaging; develop alternate vendors and support cost optimization.
• Coordinate performance trials, stability and safety studies; ensure regulatory compliance and documentation before launch.
• Benchmark competitors and track trends to feed the NPD pipeline.

Key Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience in NPD, Product Development or R&D in personal care, haircare or beauty.
• Hands-on knowledge of formulations and the product development lifecycle from brief to launch.
• Experience managing multiple projects and timelines with cross-functional teams, contract manufacturers and third-party laboratories.
• Prior experience with professional/salon-channel brands.
