.NET Full Stack Engineer

Vispero®
India

About the role

Vispero builds assistive technology used by people who are blind or have low vision, including JAWS and ZoomText. We are looking for a .NET full stack engineer, working remotely from India, to build and maintain web applications and services for our products. You will work across the stack, from Blazor front ends to ASP.NET Core APIs and SQL Server, and collaborate closely with engineering teams in the United States. You will use AI coding tools such as Claude Code and OpenAI Codex as a normal part of your work. You also need to understand the .NET stack well enough to judge, correct, and own everything those tools produce.

What you will do

  • Design, build, and maintain ASP.NET Core web APIs in C#.
  • Design and build accessible Blazor front ends that work with screen readers and meet WCAG 2.2 AA.
  • Use Claude Code, Codex, or similar agentic tools to scaffold features, write tests, refactor legacy code, and investigate bugs.
  • Review AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability before it ships.
  • Write clear task specs, prompts, and project context files (such as CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md) so AI tools produce consistent results across the team.
  • Work with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core on data models, migrations, and query performance.
  • Work with kiosk and desktop teams in India and the US on API contracts and integrations.Required qualifications
  • E., B.Tech, MCA, or equivalent degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional C# and .NET development, including .NET 8 or later.
  • Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core, REST API design, dependency injection, and authentication (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT).
  • Hands-on experience designing and building web front ends in Blazor, including components, state management, and calling back-end APIs.
  • Working understanding of HTML and CSS, including responsive layouts, Flexbox, and Grid.
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server and Entity Framework Core, including writing efficient queries and troubleshooting slow ones.
  • Hands-on daily use of Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools on production code, with examples you can walk through.
  • The judgment to spot when AI output is wrong, insecure, or poorly designed, and the .NET depth to fix it yourself.
  • Experience writing automated tests with xUnit or NUnit, and using tests to check AI-generated changes.
  • Experience working on a large-scale SaaS application.
  • Working knowledge of Git and pull request workflows.
  • Willingness to learn new domain concepts.
  • Clear written and spoken English for working with distributed teams. Good specs make better code, whether a person or an AI tool writes it.
  • Willingness to overlap a few hours each day with US Eastern Time for meetings and handoffs.Preferred qualifications
  • Experience setting up AI tooling for a team, such as MCP servers, custom agents, or shared prompt libraries.
  • Familiarity with web accessibility and ARIA.
  • Experience modernizing legacy .NET Framework applications.
  • Experience working with product companies or global engineering teams. The position will range between 18 Lacs to 24 Lacs per annum.
