Role Overview

Codem is looking for a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA ABAP Consultant with deep technical expertise in modern ABAP development, SAP Fiori, and S/4HANA extensibility. The role requires strong hands-on development capabilities, cross-module technical design experience, and the ability to deliver high-priority solutions in fast-paced enterprise environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesSAP S/4HANA ABAP Development

• Design, develop, and enhance ABAP solutions on SAP S/4HANA (latest versions).
• Build and optimize CDS Views, including analytical and transactional use cases.
• Develop and support SAP Fiori applications, including backend OData services.
• Design and maintain Adobe Forms for business-critical documents.

Enhancements & Extensibility

• Implement enhancements using:
• BADIs
• User exits
• Enhancement framework
• Follow clean core principles and S/4HANA extensibility best practices where applicable.Interfaces & Integration
• Design and develop integration interfaces using:
• IDocs
• RFCs
• Web Services (SOAP / REST / OData)
• Collaborate with functional consultants (SD, MM, FI) to deliver robust technical solutions aligned with business processes.Cross-Module Technical Design
• Provide technical solution designs for SD, MM, and FI processes.
• Translate functional specifications into scalable and maintainable ABAP solutions.Support & Change Management
• Support production systems and change management activities, including:
• High-priority issue resolution
• Root cause analysis and permanent fixes
• Transport management and deployment support
• Handle urgent and critical tasks with flexibility and accountability.Required Skills & Qualifications
• 10+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience, with strong focus on SAP S/4HANA
• Solid expertise in:
• ABAP Objects
• CDS Views
• SAP Fiori (backend focus)
• Adobe Forms
• Enhancements and BADIs
• Strong experience with SAP integration technologies (IDoc, RFC, Web Services)
• Good functional understanding of SD, MM, and FI modules
• Proven experience working in production support and change-driven environments
• Strong problem-solving and communication skillsNice to Have
• Experience with ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)
• Exposure to S/4HANA migration or conversion projects
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology
• Experience working in consulting or system integrator setups
