The Staff Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible to Architect, Design, Code, Debug and Implement software features, enhancements working collaboratively with team. He or She will develop quick prototypes to demonstrate the design concepts and product ideas to team and management. Furthermore, the candidate will work independently as well as with SME’s

This position reports to the Senior Software Engineering manager of Digital solution – Cloud platform and is part of the Digital Solutions R&D group located in Bengaluru and will be an on-site role.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Understand the overall requirements of the product/platform and specifically for the assigned feature/module.
• Design and Develop code as per the software requirements and generate Unit Test cases, Investigate software / system problems and fix defects and track it to closure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (locally & globally) to ensure product releases meet quality, performance, scalability, reliability and schedule goals.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 15+ years proven experience in Java/J2EE/.Net Programming.
• At least 10 years of experience in front-end web development using modern frameworks such as AngularJS or React on Azure Cloud and working with Gen AI based product development.
• Hands on experience on Java Script, Rest API, Microservice Architecture, DevOps, Continuous Integration, delivery and deployment, version Control (e.g., git).
• Experience in system design and architecture, reviewing large-scale system designs.
• Experience in creating flow diagrams, UML, Threat modeling.
• Collaborating with different product teams and communicating with stakeholders.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience in medical device design & development in Agile environment is a plus.
• Understanding of software development processes for a regulated environment (FDA/ISO13485) and experience in medical device verification is a plus
