Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled software engineer with strong experience in .NET core and Microsoft Azure cloud to design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms, microservices architecture, APIs, containers, CI/CD, observability, and production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications.
• Build and deploy cloud-native services using modern architecture and engineering practices.
• Develop and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs with appropriate versioning and schema governance.
• Design event-driven and domain-driven solutions for distributed systems.
• Implement robust production services with appropriate monitoring, logging, tracing, health checks, retries, and fault-tolerance mechanisms.
• Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Develop automated unit, performance, and load tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment strategies such as blue-green and canary releases.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Programming

• Proficiency in .NET Core Development.
• Comfortable delivering production applications in both technologies, or highly proficient in one with strong working knowledge of the other.

Cloud Technologies

• Hands-on experience deploying and operating services on Microsoft Azure, including:
• Azure App Service
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Azure Functions
• Azure SQL
• Azure Cosmos DB
• Azure Storage
• Azure Key Vault
• Azure API Management

Architecture & Design

• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with:
• 12-factor application principles
• Stateless services
• Health checks
• Circuit breakers
• Retry and exponential backoff strategies
• Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Event-driven architecture

API Development

• Practical experience designing, developing, and maintaining:
• REST APIs
• GraphQL APIs
• Understanding of API versioning and schema governance.

Databases & Data

• Strong experience with relational databases such as:
• SQL Server
• PostgreSQL
• Experience with at least one NoSQL database, such as:
• Azure Cosmos DB
• MongoDB
• Good understanding of:
• Transactions
• Indexing
• Query optimization and performance tuning

Containers & CI/CD

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Kubernetes platforms such as:
• AKS
• EKS
• GKE
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using:
• Azure DevOps
• GitHub Actions
• Understanding of modern deployment strategies, including blue-green and canary deployments.

Observability & Production Operations

• Experience implementing and working with:
• Application logging
• Metrics
• Distributed tracing
• Application Insights
• Prometheus
• Grafana
• Production alerting
• Strong production support and on-call readiness.
• Ability to quickly diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues.

Quality & Testing

• Experience with modern unit testing frameworks.

• Strong focus on code quality, reliability, maintainability, and automated testing.
