Senior Software Engineer ~ Remote

Experience: 3–5 Years

Location: Remote

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services.
• Build robust REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Design efficient database schemas and data models.
• Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, production-ready code.
• Participate in architecture and system design discussions.
• Review Pull Requests and provide meaningful technical feedback.
• Identify and resolve production and performance issues.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Build integrations with third-party services.
• Write unit, integration, and API tests.
• Monitor production systems and troubleshoot issues.
• Work with DevOps engineers on deployment and infrastructure.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of professional development experience.
• Strong experience with one or more:
• Node.js / TypeScript
• Python
• Java
• Go
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture.
• Strong SQL and database fundamentals.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or equivalent.
• Good understanding of system design and scalable architecture.
• Strong Git and GitHub experience.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security.
• Experience writing production-quality code.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote startup environment.
