About the RoleWe are looking for an AI Engineer to build and deploy AI and Generative AI applications for enterprise customers. You will work with architects, data engineers and application developers to deliver intelligent assistants, RAG applications and agentic workflows.

Location: India — Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop AI assistants and GenAI applications using LLMs, prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Build agent workflows with tool calling, memory and API integration using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent.
  • Develop retrieval pipelines for structured and unstructured data using embeddings, vector databases and search services.
  • Integrate AI applications with enterprise systems and deploy secure, scalable services, primarily on Azure.
  • Test and improve response quality, retrieval accuracy, latency and cost; implement guardrails for privacy and responsible AI.
  • Contribute to code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring and technical documentation.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 4–7 years of software engineering experience, including hands-on delivery of AI or GenAI applications.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills, with experience developing backend services and REST APIs.
  • Practical experience with LLM services such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Gemini or Claude.
  • Hands-on knowledge of RAG, embeddings, prompt engineering, vector search and model evaluation.
  • Experience with an AI orchestration framework and familiarity with agentic workflows.
  • Experience with Git, cloud deployment and modern software development practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team.

DesirableExposure to Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Azure Functions, Document Intelligence, Databricks, Docker or MLOps/LLMOps. Familiarity with graph databases, Spark or frontend development is an advantage.

QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Data Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
