PeopleUp is Looking for:

Senior React Native Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior React Native Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in React Native, mobile application architecture, and end-to-end app development, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with strong hands-on expertise in React Native.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of React Native internals and experience with frameworks such as Expo and Ignite.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Recoil, and MobX, along with component-driven UI architectures.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, including navigation, offline capabilities, and push notifications.
• Hands-on leadership or mentorship experience with junior talent is required.
• Experience with mobile app performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs using token-based authentication.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, mobile testing frameworks, and app release processes for both iOS and Android.
• Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong focus on writing clean, scalable, maintainable, and high-quality code.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, with a strong sense of ownership and autonomy.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven engineering decisions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a team-first approach.

Good to Have

• Familiarity with native mobile development, including:
• iOS: Objective-C / Swift
• Android: Java / Kotlin
• Experience with NativeScript.
