Role Description This is a full-time Senior Java Developer role based in Bengaluru, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of on-site and work-from-home arrangements. The Senior Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications and microservices that support core telecommunications platforms and customer-facing solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and testable code, implementing features and enhancements, troubleshooting and resolving production issues, and participating in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as architects, product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps to deliver secure, high-performance solutions aligned with business and customer needs. The Senior Java Developer will also contribute to technical design, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java and general Programming skills, with experience building complex backend systems.
• Hands-on experience in Software Development using modern engineering practices (version control, testing, CI/CD, code reviews).
• Practical expertise in Microservices architecture, including design, implementation, and integration of distributed services.
• In-depth knowledge of the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data) for building enterprise-grade applications.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with external services and platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud-native development (containers, Kubernetes, cloud platforms) and related tooling is an asset.
• Understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases, performance tuning, and data modeling.
• Experience in telecommunications or large-scale, high-availability systems is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative, multicultural environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
