ASP.NET Web Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ASP.NET Developer with a strong understanding of web application development and experience in .NET. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing new modules, enhancing existing functionalities, fixing issues, and implementing client-specific customizations for universities across India.

While experience across any Educational ERP module is valuable, candidates with hands-on experience in .NET and the University Examination Module will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Educational ERP applications using .NET technologies.
• Develop new features and customize existing ERP modules based on university requirements.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Work across various ERP modules, including Admissions, Academics, Student Management, Faculty Management, Fees, Attendance, Examination, and other administrative modules.
• Participate in the development and enhancement of the University Examination Module, including examination setup, scheduling, hall ticket generation, marks processing, result generation, revaluation, supplementary examinations, and transcript generation.
• Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Support teams to deliver quality solutions.
• Follow coding standards, documentation practices, and version control processes.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience with ASP.NET Web Forms.
• Good knowledge of C#.
• Good knowledge of SQL Server.
• Familiarity with third party or other version control systems.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

• Educational ERP development
• University or College ERP solutions
• ASP.NET Web Forms-based applications
• University Examination Module
• Academic Administration Systems
• Higher Education domain

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant software development experience.
• Good understanding of SDLC and enterprise application development.
• Ability to understand functional requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and business domains.
