SAP EWM Consultant - Contracter

Role Description The SAP EWM Consultant – Contractor will work full time in a remote capacity, supporting clients in the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing warehouse and logistics processes, gathering and validating business requirements, and translating them into effective SAP EWM configurations. The role involves managing master data related to warehouse operations, coordinating system integration with other SAP and non-SAP modules, and conducting testing and issue resolution. The consultant will prepare functional documentation, provide user training and support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and system stability.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to assess business requirements, identify gaps, and propose practical SAP EWM solutions.
• Consulting experience in SAP environments, including client-facing work, requirement gathering, and solution presentation.
• Solid understanding of business processes in warehousing, logistics, and supply chain, with the ability to map them to SAP EWM functionalities.
• Hands-on experience with master data in SAP (e.g., materials, storage bins, warehouse structures) and its impact on warehouse operations.
• Experience in system integration between SAP EWM and other SAP modules (such as SAP ERP/S4HANA) or external systems.
• Proficiency in SAP EWM configuration, testing, and troubleshooting, including inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes.
• Effective communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate in virtual teams.
• Prior experience in remote consulting or distributed project teams is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant SAP certifications in EWM or Supply Chain modules are an advantage.
