Job Title: SAP EWM Functional Consultant

Experience: 6–10 Years

Work Mode / Location: Hybrid / PAN India

Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel domestically or internationally for short-term assignments (up to 4 weeks)

Note: This is a functional, process-oriented, and customer-facing role, requiring strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and customer-facing SAP EWM Functional Consultant to drive SAP EWM implementations, template rollouts, and optimization initiatives. Acting as a Process Solution Expert, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, collaborating closely with plant key users, stakeholders, and technical development teams across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Implementation: Lead SAP EWM process design, conduct gap analysis, and support end-to-end implementation and template rollout activities.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for customer stakeholders and process teams to gather requirements and present functional solutions.
Testing & Migration: Drive Unit Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and test/productive data migration activities.
Integration & Specifications: Formulate detailed functional specifications for EWM enhancements and ensure seamless integration with SAP ERP, EWM-PP (Production Replenishment), and other modules using IDocs, CIF, and RFC.
Operations & Support: Troubleshoot production and implementation issues, provide hypercare and post-go-live support, and deliver comprehensive training to key and plant users.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience Range: 6 to 10 years of total experience, with a minimum of 2 end-to-end SAP EWM implementations and 2 post-go-live/full-time support projects.
Domain Expertise: At least 2 years of focused SAP EWM experience in the Automotive or Manufacturing industry.
Platform Knowledge: Proficiency in SAP EWM 9.5 and S/4HANA Embedded EWM, with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on S/4HANA EWM experience.
Functional Competency: Comprehensive understanding of Inbound, Outbound, Warehousing, Packaging processes, and EWM-PP integration with deep expertise in at least one core EWM process.
Technical Integration: Strong command over EWM-ERP integration frameworks, including IDocs, CIF, and RFC.

Good-to-Have Skills & Certifications

Experience with Value-Added Services (VAS), Automated Warehouse processes, and SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM).
Familiarity with both Embedded and Decentralized EWM architectures.
Valid SAP EWM or SAP WM Certification.
