Lead Software Engineer
Solution Collaboration: Collaborate with architects and technical teams to design and implement interoperability solutions (FHIR, HL7) and integrate EMR/EHR modules (Clinical Management, Patient Management, RCM).
Transformation Leadership: Lead AI/RPA-based transformation initiatives within the provider space, ensuring alignment with value-based care models and population health management objectives.
Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between clinical leadership, IT departments, and third-party vendors to ensure technical deliverables meet operational requirements.
Validation & Rollout: Define functional test scenarios, oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and manage defect triage to ensure solutions meet clinical safety and regulatory standards.
Technical & Functional Core Competencies
Healthcare Provider Domain: Deep expertise in hospital/clinical workflows, value-based care, and population health initiatives.12
EMR/EHR Systems: In-depth knowledge of leading platforms such as EPIC, Cerner, or Athena.
HIS Modules: Proficiency in core hospital modules, including Clinical Management, Patient Management, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Lab Information Systems, and Radiology.12
Healthcare Interoperability: Strong understanding of healthcare standards, specifically FHIR, HL7, and API integration with EMR modules.Data & Tools: Familiarity with data strategy, process modeling, and Agile management tools (Jira, Confluence) for managing requirements and documentation.2
Qualifications & Experience
Experience: 12–15+ years of relevant experience as a Lead Consultant, Business Analyst, or Technical Analyst within the healthcare provider/hospital domain.2Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
Certifications (Preferred)
CBAP/CCBA (Certified Business Analysis Professional).
PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis).
Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).Soft Skills
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; capable of navigating complex discussions with clinical leaders and IT staff.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation capabilities.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment and manage the full project lifecycle from requirement gathering to rollout.
