Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced GCP Engineer to design, build and optimise scalable cloud-based data platforms and pipelines using Google Cloud Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop batch and real-time data pipelines using Dataflow, Dataproc and Pub/Sub.
- Build and optimise data warehouses and processing solutions using BigQuery and Google Cloud Storage.
- Orchestrate workflows using Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow).
- Implement Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and automated deployments using Terraform and Cloud Build.
- Apply cloud security, data governance, monitoring and cost-optimisation best practices.Key Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP data engineering services.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark and Apache Spark.
- Experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub and GCS.
- Knowledge of Terraform, CI/CD, IAM, cloud monitoring and data pipeline optimisation.
- Experience building scalable, secure and reliable enterprise data platforms.
