Lead Software Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering: Assist in documenting business requirements for digital channel enhancements (e.g., mobile app features, online banking flows, kiosk integrations).
Customer Journey Mapping: Support the creation and refinement of user journeys to ensure frictionless interactions across multiple digital touchpoints.
Process Analysis: Map existing retail banking channel workflows and identify friction points or opportunities for digital automation and modernization.
System Implementation Support: Participate in the configuration and testing of digital channel solutions. Actively contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support the resolution of functional defects.
Data-Driven Insights: Analyze user behavior data and channel adoption metrics to provide recommendations for platform improvement and engagement strategy.
Documentation: Create functional specifications, user stories, and training documentation for internal product teams and end-users.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 7–10 years of experience in Retail Banking, specifically within digital banking, channel strategy, or FinTech product development.
Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of Retail Banking operations, digital channel ecosystems (Mobile Banking, Internet Banking), and customer-centric design principles.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, JIRA, or similar project management tools. Basic understanding of API-based banking architectures and UI/UX design concepts is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Ability to work with data to derive actionable insights regarding channel performance and user behavior.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and business stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
