Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical delivery across development, integration, testing, deployment and pilot phases, maintaining the integrated delivery plan, milestones and phase-gate sign-offs.
- Coordinate cross-functional engineering workstreams across frontend, backend, data/AI, OT/IoT integration, DevOps, QA and on-site deployment, ensuring dependencies and interfaces are actively managed.
- Drive execution and delivery cadence through sprint planning, stand-ups, technical reviews, milestone reviews and action tracking; proactively remove blockers and escalate critical risks.
- Manage programme risks, dependencies and changes, maintaining the risk/issue register, mitigation ownership, resource risks and formal change-control process against the approved MVP scope.
- Manage pilot and deployment readiness including site readiness, data audits, integration dependencies, hardware/software gaps, environment readiness and customer onboarding milestones.
- Provide clear technical programme reporting to Product Owners, Product Managers and Leadership, covering progress, schedule, risks, dependencies, quality, resource status and key decisions.

Technical Delivery Management
- Strong experience managing complex software/technology delivery programmes involving multiple engineering teams and interdependent workstreams.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile/Scrum delivery, CI/CD, testing, release management and production deployment.
- Ability to understand technical dependencies across application, API, data, AI/ML, infrastructure and integration layers.
- Experience managing delivery schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, resources and scope/change control.
- Working understanding of cloud-based software development and modern software architectures.
Technical Architecture Awareness
- Working understanding of distributed systems, microservices/service-oriented architecture and event-driven systems.
- Understanding of data pipelines, APIs, databases and high-volume data processing sufficient to identify technical dependencies, delivery risks and integration issues.
- Ability to engage effectively with architects and engineering leads and challenge/validate technical delivery assumptions.
Project & Programme Tools
- Hands-on familiarity with project delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet or equivalent.
- Ability to maintain delivery plans, RAID logs, dependency trackers, resource plans, dashboards and executive status reports.
Preferred
- Exposure to full-stack technologies such as React/Angular, Java/.NET/Node.js/Python and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Experience with high-volume data pipelines, telemetry/time-series systems or data platforms.
- Familiarity with Kafka, MQTT or equivalent event/messaging technologies.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/container orchestration and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or equivalent.
- Exposure to ThingsBoard, IoT, OT, SCADA or industrial data platforms.
- Familiarity with ML/AI and GenAI delivery lifecycle, including model/data dependencies and AI solution integration.
- Experience managing on-premise + cloud/hybrid deployments and site-level technical integration.
- Experience in any of Energy, Industrial Power and Oil & Gas with leading a software team.
Qualifications
Mandatory
- 9+ years of experience in technical project/programme management or software delivery management.
- Proven experience delivering complex software/platform programmes with multiple technical workstreams and fixed milestones.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering teams across development, QA, DevOps, data/integration and deployment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage schedule, scope, risks, dependencies, resources and delivery governance.
- Experience operating with formal milestone/phase-gate or equivalent delivery governance and measurable acceptance criteria.
- Strong technical communication skills, with the ability to translate engineering progress, risks and dependencies into clear business-level reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
Preferred
- Experience delivering IoT, SaaS, data platforms, telemetry platforms or distributed systems.
- Experience with ThingsBoard, industrial IoT, SCADA or OT integration.
- Experience managing programmes involving cloud + on-premise/hybrid infrastructure and container orchestration.
- Experience working with lean, startup-speed engineering teams with dedicated project headcount and aggressive MVP timelines.
- Exposure to customer-site deployments, pilot programmes, data audits and hardware/software integration.
