Founding Full-Stack Engineer – Integrations & AI-Native

Role OverviewWe are looking for a Founding Full-Stack Engineer who can own product development end-to-end—from UI and backend architecture to complex third-party integrations, AI integrations, deployment, and production ownership.

This is a high-ownership role for someone comfortable working in an early-stage environment, handling ambiguous requirements, building integrations from scratch, and using AI tools/agents to accelerate development.

Key Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end across Frontend, Backend, Database, Integrations and Deployment
• Design and build REST/GraphQL APIs and complex third-party integrations
• Integrate payment gateways, SaaS platforms, external APIs, webhooks, OAuth, authentication and other external services
• Build and maintain reliable API-to-API, data and event-driven integrations
• Develop AI-powered features using LLM APIs, agents, RAG, vector search and MCP
• Build responsive interfaces using React, Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS
• Design backend services using Node.js, Express.js and PostgreSQL
• Handle caching, queues, real-time communication and integration reliability
• Own deployment, monitoring, debugging and production issues
• Make architecture and product decisions with full accountability
• Use Claude, AI agents and automated workflows extensively across the development lifecycleMust-Have Experience
• 5+ years of production-grade full-stack development
• Strong React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js and Express.js experience
• Strong experience designing and implementing third-party/API integrations
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth2, JWT, rate limiting and external service integrations
• Strong PostgreSQL and Redis experience
• Experience integrating LLM/AI APIs or AI-powered product features
• AWS, Docker and CI/CD experience
• Experience working in startups or lean engineering teams with high ownership
• Proven ability to take a requirement from idea → architecture → development → integration → deploymentGood to Have
