Summary
UST is seeking a highly skilled C++ / C Developer with 8+ years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-grade desktop applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C/C++, modern software design principles, testing frameworks, and Agile development practices.
The Opportunity
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain desktop applications using C++ and C.
- Develop robust and scalable solutions using MFC, COM, Qt, and WPF frameworks.
- Implement and maintain unit tests using NUnit, Google Test (GTest), and GMock frameworks.
- Apply object-oriented design principles, multithreading concepts, and performance optimization techniques.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across the application lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding, quality, and security standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and software quality engineering practices.
What You Need
- 8+ years of software development experience with C++ and C.
- Strong expertise in desktop application development.
- Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks and quality engineering practices.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, multithreading, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
