Associate Software Engineer

Role Description The Associate Software Engineer will contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of Frontend & Backend services and APIs that power BigCashWeb’s rewarded engagement platform. In this full-time remote role, the person will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, improve system performance, and ensure reliability and scalability of platform components. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, well-documented code, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting production issues, and assisting with integration of third-party services and tools. The Associate Software Engineer will also help refine technical requirements, support continuous integration and deployment practices, and contribute to process and tooling improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Hands-on experience with Frontend & Backend Web Development for scalable, distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Programming in at least one modern language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and ability to apply them in production code.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, databases (SQL or NoSQL), and version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of testing practices (unit, integration) and basic CI/CD workflows.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
