Chief of Staff - Product
Kotak Neo
Mumbai Metropolitan Region
Role Summary : The Chief of Staff is the connective layer across Product's 6 pillars — Core Broking, Design, Growth, Wealth/MF/Fixed Income, Post Trade, and Self-Service — translating Vision 2031 strategy into a coordinated operating cadence, a single metrics view, and a consistent narrative for leadership. This is a working partner role: owning the planning calendar, chasing decisions to closure, and giving the Head of Product early visibility into risk — freeing his time for judgment calls and external stakeholders rather than process coordination
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & narrative: Consolidate roadmaps across all 6 pillars; translate Vision 2031 themes into quarterly OKRs; own the Head of Product's executive narrative.
- Operating rhythm: Run the planning calendar (weekly/monthly/quarterly cadences); track decisions and owners to closure, including the KCP→Neo Assist transition and Tushar Kochar's handover.
- Cross-functional coordination: Primary coordination point with the Corporate President's office, Technology, Compliance, and Marketing — especially post the Oct 2026 Kotak Neo rebrand; manages seams like Jaskaran's shared instrumentation/release queue.
- Metrics & insight: Stand up a single north-star dashboard across pillars (OPC, Activation, AUM, MTF health, CSAT); spot patterns before they become surprises.
- Special projects: Lead time-bound cross-pillar initiatives directly for the Head of Product; support org design, succession, and talent reviews across the 6 pillars.
Candidate Profile :
- 8–12 years in strategy consulting, product/business operations, or a prior Chief of Staff / BizOps role — ideally in fintech, broking, or wealth management.
- Strong structured-thinking and written communication; comfortable driving decisions without formal authority over peers.
- Working fluency with product/business metrics (funnels, cohorts, unit economics); high discretion and judgment.
- Comfortable with a multi-city rhythm - Mumbai-based (Kalina, BKC, Goregaon, Thane) with periodic travel to Bengaluru.
