Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Java Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Java programming, object-oriented principles, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and database technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
• Write clean, reusable, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Develop and optimize database queries using SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver software solutions.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and code reviews.
• Identify and resolve application performance and production issues.
• Follow software development best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Maintain technical documentation and support application deployments.Required Skills
• Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of RESTful web services and API development.
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
• Proficiency in SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Understanding of exception handling, multithreading, and Java collections.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
