Functional Consultant – Project & Client Management

Role Purpose

Drive successful delivery of business and technology initiatives by leveraging project management, business analysis, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and process improvement capabilities. Support solution development, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making through effective governance, analytics, automation, quality assurance, and knowledge management practices while ensuring alignment with client and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management & Delivery

• Support end-to-end project and opportunity lifecycle management across technology, analytics, and business transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate project planning, execution, governance, status reporting, KPI/SLA tracking, risk management, and stakeholder communications.
• Drive delivery excellence through workflow optimization, automation initiatives, and continuous process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution, compliance adherence, and successful delivery outcomes.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks, and facilitate issue resolution to maintain project objectives and timelines.
• 2. Business Analysis
• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional specifications, reporting solutions, and technology recommendations.
• Conduct requirement assessments, solution scoping, technology evaluations, and implementation approach analysis.
• Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and key performance indicators.

3. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Engage with clients, business leaders, product owners, delivery teams, and executive stakeholders to understand business objectives and solution requirements.
• Facilitate client discussions, workshops, project reviews, and governance meetings.
• Manage communication channels to ensure alignment, timely escalations, and efficient resolution of project-related issues.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to refine requirements, prioritize deliverables, and enhance user experience.

4. Testing & Quality Assurance

• Validate business requirements and ensure solution alignment with expected outcomes.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, consistency checks, and quality assessments to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Conduct functional testing, defect identification, troubleshooting, and resolution support for application enhancements and reporting solutions.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and stakeholder validation activities before production deployment.

5. Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Create and maintain business requirements documents, functional specifications, process flows, governance reports, and solution documentation.
• Prepare executive summaries, project status updates, and dashboards for leadership teams.
• Develop knowledge repositories, user guides, training materials, and operational handbooks to support organizational learning.
• Document solution designs, business processes, reporting methodologies, and best practices to ensure knowledge retention.
• Contribute to content development, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and continuous improvement programs across teams.
