Software Engineering Senior Advisor

Evernorth is seeking a highly experienced Software Engineering Senior Advisor to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable healthcare technology solutions within the Find Care ecosystem. This role requires deep expertise in Full Stack Engineering, API development, data pipelines, modern web technologies, and end-to-end product ownership. The ideal candidate will drive technical excellence while delivering innovative provider search and care navigation experiences.

• Lead architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise-scale applications.
• Design and build scalable APIs, microservices, and backend services using Golang, Node.js, Python, and Scala.
• Develop modern, responsive, and high-performing user interfaces using React.
• Design and optimize data pipelines supporting real-time and batch data processing needs.
• Drive end-to-end ownership of applications from requirements gathering through production support.
• Enhance and evolve Find Care Agent capabilities and provider search experiences.
• Partner with Product Managers, Architects, UX teams, and Business stakeholders to deliver customer-centric healthcare solutions.
• Define and enforce engineering best practices related to scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Lead technical design reviews, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
• Mentor and guide engineers across multiple agile teams.
• Support cloud-native application development and modernization initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement long-term solutions.Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 13-16 years of software engineering experience with strong technical leadership capabilities.
• Proven experience building large-scale distributed systems and enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
• Golang

• React
• Extensive experience with APIs, Microservices, and Integration Platforms.
• Strong expertise in Data Pipelines and End-to-End Solution Delivery.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications
• Healthcare, Digital Health, Payer, Provider, or Care Navigation domain experience.
• Experience working on Provider Search, Find Care Platforms, or Consumer Healthcare applications.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with AI-powered digital agents or intelligent healthcare solutions.
